Visit from MN Dept. of Health – Engineering

It has been a big week!!  Ben Zwart from the Minnesota Department of Health Engineering section was here, after inspecting, as far as he is concerned, we are good to move in the Hospital.  The Fire Marshall will be here on Monday or Tuesday this week. For the Hospital, we will start moving the Lab equipment Monday and hope to be done by Wednesday afternoon.  Radiology has already moved the mammography and Dexa equipment and the new radiographic equipment have been installed.  The radiation physicist will be here on Tuesday and we hope to start using the new Radiology Department on Wednesday.  The new temporary Registration is also almost complete and we are planning to move on Tuesday night.  The Care Center was also fine for Ben but now we have two more inspections – Fire Marshall and Health Department Survey and Certification before we can occupy.  We hope the Residents who are currently sharing a room will get their own room for Christmas.
